Liberal Opportunist

July 26, 2012

If Mayor Bloomberg of New York City is deserving of a title it would should be:  “Liberal Opportunist”.  Because he exceeds the norm in seizing upon issues to advance his liberal agenda for New York City.  In the past year he has declared war on fast foods, soda drink sizes, and now he is using the Colorado massacre to outlaw guns.  He just recently proposed law enforcement go on strike in protest of the fact citizens are permitted to own firearms. Basically he is politicizing, for his own purposes, a horrible massacre of Americans.  This was something he spoke out against during the 911 attacks.

Here are a few rubs with his contention firearms be prohibited to everyone but law enforcement.

1.  He already has one of the strictest firearm laws, banning them from New York City, yet gun violence continues to be a problem in NYC, just like in Chicago and Washington DC, where there are similar laws.

2.  A reasonable person would conclude;  gun control DOES NOT equate to a safer society.  It states the opposite, prohibiting firearms means only the police and criminals will have them.  Does that make for a safer society?  The statistics and recent crime reports on urban violence beg to differ with liberals who are pushing gun control on America.

Mayor Bloomberg is now  suggesting police officers should violate the law and abdicate their sworn duty to protect and serve their communities by going on strike to protest.  There are laws in every state that prohibit police officers  from striking and for good reason. They are the only line of defense we have against criminals.  For Mayor Bloomberg to suggest a strike is ridiculous and shows how full of crap liberals are with regard to policy.  Mayor Bloomberg is a Liberal Opportunist and his statements are insulting to thinking Americans.

Best Quote 2012

Best Line so far of 2012:

I don’t know whose quote this is, but it is definitely packed with truth”  and, as we all know, sometimes the truth hurts!

This will be a classic!!!  It should be engraved in stone at the front of the Capitol.

Witnessing the Republicans and the Democrats bicker over the U.S. debt is like watching two drunks argue over a bar bill on the Titanic.
