As we head into the summer season and the presidential campaign begins here are a few things to consider:

  • Gasoline continues its march to $5.00 per gallon, average Americans are feeling the pain in their wallets.
  • Federal spending continues to outpace the nation’s revenues and the national debt is at a point where it is putting our credit rating in jeopardy, yet liberals in both the Senate and Whitehouse want to raise it even higher without any meaningful cuts to the federal budget.
  • Eliminate subsidies to oil companies, which will mean even costlier energy for the consumer, his policy advisors are determined to destroy fossil fuel energy by taxing it and restricting drilling until it breaks them.  The unfortunate part to that strategy is it will also break you the consumer.  Many of you are already feeling that pain in your wallets.  Why isn’t Obama going after OPEC?  Isn’t that where the inflated oil price starts?

Here are some numbers reported from the federal government that support these facts.  There is additional information that clearly supports the decline of the U.S. since liberals took over the government.

National debt, in trillions $10..627 $14..052

Just take this last item: In the last two years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation’s history.

Today, Obama has returned to the campaign trail blaming all of this on former President Bush’s policies. He is not taking responsibility for any of today’s economic issues.  He maintains the problems created by 8 years of Bush’s policies cannot be fixed in just 3 years. Never mind he pushed the debt limit up past 14 Trillion dollars; wasted hundreds of billions of dollars on government bail outs, and an enlarged the federal bureaucracy because he and his advisors believe government is the answer to the country’s problems!  Anyone with common sense can clearly see the above statistics prove that theory to be wrong!

Obama has America involved in Libya’s civil war. The problem with that intervention (just like in Afghanistan)America has no end game plan for the troops. A few weeks ago Obama was forced to rescind his decision to bring captured terrorists, (captured on foreign soil) to NYC to stand trial in federal civilian courts.  Thank God the American public put enough pressure on him to end that insane decision.  Obama also changed course on his promise to shut down Gitmo, a promise made to his far left supporters.  Apparently even Obama finally woke up and realized bringing these dangerous terrorists to our homeland was stupid.

So, considering all of this information (available to anyone willing to search for it) I have two words for those who still willing to support Obama and other liberals in power and consider re-electing them. WAKE UP!

GE Pays NO Income Tax for 2010!

April 1, 2011

GE one of the largest companies in America announced they did not pay any federal income taxes in 2010 despite more than $5 billion in profits!  CEO Jeffrey Immelt, appearing before the Economic Club of Washington, had this to say about GE’s 2010 federal income tax, or lack of it:  “The tax system is complex, it is filled with loopholes and other pieces of it that make it possible for corporations to reduce their tax burden. And taxes are not good for the companies in terms of their competitiveness and potential for growth and this is obviously not good overall for job creation in the United States.”

GE’s CEO Immelt also happens to be close friends and with President Obama and campaigned hard for his election, which certainly has not hurt his companies business interests since he was elected President.  What Americans must understand is that GE is not outsourcing American jobs.  They are “offshoring” jobs, which is sending them to India and China!  Why?  Because that is the vision of the far-left’s world economy or in other words: “Chrony Capitalism”!

GE’s CEO explains it this way:  The composition of GE’s businesses is complex it is not always easy to determine why a job is no longer needed in a particular place. (America) It may be because of one or more market forces, such as changes in technology, proximity to clients, development of new markets, or changes in the economy. Furthermore, he added that since only about 5% of the world’s population is in the U. S., it would not make sense for a global operation to limit its facilities to that one country.”

Donald Trump is an expert on business deals.  There is no denying his knowledge and experience, coupled with his success in business.  He pokes major holes through this argument if you have been listening to him over the past several weeks.  The lack of leadership in the White House and a far left majority in Congress over the past 4 years brought us to this current situation.  We pay more for food, clothing, and services because of this policy.  Oil prices are again at $100.00 a barrel and we have no domestic energy policy.  Since Obama’s election, gas prices have doubled!

America desperately is in need of leadership we need a leader who addresses the rip off of Americans with an unfair income tax system where companies like GE pay no income tax, thanks to an army of tax lawyers and friends in DC.  A leader who creates policy preventing jobs from being “offshored” to places like India and China, and  where America’s borders are protected putting a stop to illegal immigration and drug smugglers!  Friends it is time to make big changes in America.  Our future must not be determined by China and India and the Middle East.  The corporate giants of America invested in these countries must be made to pay taxes and to create jobs in America.  If they don’t want to pay taxes create jobs for Americans, then they should be shown the door to China or India and set up their corporate headquarters in those countries.  I am sure that threat would change some hearts and minds in America’s corporate board rooms!  Paying no income tax on a 5 Billion Dollars in profit is not only wrong it should be illegal!
