Is The Media Hiding The Truth?

Last nights GOP debate was hosted by CNN in Arizona.  During the questioning of the candidates, the issue of birth control was raised to the candidates by the CNN reporter.  In a time of spiraling gasoline prices that threaten to reach $5.00 a gallon,  not one question was asked by the media members on the spike in gasoline.  The candidates had to bring it up themselves.  The media panel also ignored the present administration’s involvement with “Fast and Furious”, a program approved by Obama’s Attorney General, (Eric Holder) allowing federal authorities with ATF to sell automatic firearms to Mexican drug cartels in Mexico.  It has now turned into a government coverup, with Holder refusing to turn over memos generated by his office pertaining to “Fast and Furious”.  The program resulted in the killing of a Federal agent with one of the automatic firearms sold to the cartel by ATF!

Back in 2007 when candidate Barrack Obama was running for President.  Not once was he ever asked by the mainstream media this question:  Why as an Illinois  State Senator, did you not support  The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA)?  It was never raised as an issue by the media, anyone hearing about it heard of it from bloggers on the right.  So why today does the mainstream media think it so important to report on a candidates view on  birth control?  Is that more important then America’s economy  reeling from over regulation by government,  out of control deficit spending, and high energy prices, all because of Obama’s failed policies?  Or is it because the mainstream media chooses to keep these issues hidden from the average American voter?

Fairness Test

Please take a few minutes to answer the following (9) questions asked by Stephen Moore in an article he writes about the fairness issue, that is the current mantra of the Obama administration.  The questions are short and to the point.  The answers you provide may surprise you if you share the same opinion of the far left.

1.   Is it fair that those who took out responsible mortgages and pay them each month have to see their tax dollars used to subsidize those who acted recklessly, greedily and sometimes deceitfully in taking out mortgages they now can’t afford to repay?

2.  Is it fair that thousands of workers won’t have jobs because the president sided with environmentalists and blocked the shovel-ready Keystone XL oil pipeline?

3.  Is it fair that some of Mr. Obama’s largest campaign contributors received federal loan guarantees on their investments in renewable energy projects that went bust?

4.  Is it fair that federal employees receive benefits that are nearly 50% higher than those of private-sector workers whose taxes pay their salaries, according to the Congressional Budget Office?

5.  Is it fair that soon almost half the federal budget will take income from young working people and redistribute it to old non-working people, even though those over age 65 are already among the wealthiest Americans?

6.  Is it fair that in 27 states workers can be compelled to join a union in order to keep their jobs?

7.  Is it fair that nearly four out of 10 American households now pay no federal income tax at all—a number that has risen every year under Mr. Obama?

8.  Is it fair that Boeing, a private company, was threatened by a federal agency when it sought to add jobs in a right-to-work state rather than in a forced-union state?

9.  Is it fair that our kids and grandkids and great-grandkids—who never voted for Mr. Obama—will have to pay off the $5 trillion of debt accumulated over the past four years, without any benefits to them?

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s Betrayal!

The other day Defense Secretary Leon Panetta made public comments about Israel’s plan to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, even giving a time frame between April and June of this year.  He said Israel will attack before Iran has the opportunity to reach the zone of immunity for its nuclear program, which is a term for when Iran hardens all of their nuclear operations underground making it safe from attack.  Secretary Panetta in short released top-secret war plans that had been discussed with him by Israel!

Obama’s administration over the past 3 years has taken a much different approach towards Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East.  Israel has been threatened by Iran’s nut job leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has repeatedly vowed publicly to destroy Israel, based on Iran’s hardcore religious beliefs. Why would the Secretary of Defense make public a top-secret mission vital to Israel’s survival?

Israel’s leaders have every right to be outraged over the betrayal of their national security.  Why would Israel ever trust this Administration again? Anyone with a military background understands the importance of keeping military plans secret in order for them to succeed. Ironically, America has an Army Private on trial for divulging military secrets via Wiki-leaks.  How is Panetta’s release of Israel’s national security secret plans any different?  It seems pretty obvious the release of Israel’s war plans was done purposely by the Obama Administration for political reasons; his political base has never supported Israel.  Panetta should resign or be fired for releasing this top-secret information to the media, and America should be very embarrassed for betraying a good friend in the Middle East!

A Disservice to Veterans

The Florida Senate passed a bill sponsored by State Senator, Mike Bennett, R designed to improve benefits for returning war veterans.  But Mr. Bennett is very angry over hearing the news of the bill’s passage.  Why?  Because, the Senate committee gutted the most important benefit from the bill before approval!  The Senator’s bill had called for an automatic admission to any state university for any veteran with an honorable discharge.

Why was this part removed?  Because University officials objected to it! They believe some of the veterans might not be qualified!  The truth behind their decision is they do not want an influx of men and women who have real world experience and common sense challenging the liberal philosophy taught in most State Universities.  That could possibly influence the young easily influenced minds of those without the benefit of any real life experience and common sense.

If the leaders of our state universities are honest about their reason, how can they justify years of affirmative action, a brain child of the liberals?  There is no difference, unless you count the bias harbored towards veterans by the elitist running and teaching at our state universities.  The blame for failing our veterans falls directly on the Florida State Senate for being gutless in not looking out for the men and women, who gave everything to defend America.  This was not a good moment for the Florida Senate, which should be looking out for its most treasured constituents, not over paid employees of the state.

Most Divisive President Ever!

Last night in front of the nation, Obama proved he is intellectually dishonest or clueless about the American way of life! He wants to tax the rich at 30%. (code for taxing capital gains income). What does it mean to America’s economy? No investment capital to create new business and jobs! 7 Trillion dollars has been printed and spent in the 3 years Obama’s administration and we continue to have no real job growth, yet Obama wants more money! The speech last night was the most divisive speech ever given by a sitting president. Unbelievable!

Castle Doctrine

A young Colorado mother takes matters into her own hands to protect herself and her 3 month old baby.  After calling 911 to alert them to 2 men attempting to break into her home, she does what any person with common sense does.  She shot and killed the first guy entering her home with a shotgun.  The other intruder fled (no surprise) and was caught later.

In New York you cannot use deadly force if you know with certainty that you can avoid an intruder by retreating.  You can use deadly force if you are not the initial aggressor in an altercation within your home. (Imagine having to process that concept while facing a threat to your safety)  Today she would be under investigation and subject to both criminal and civil charges for protecting herself and her infant.  Some cities want to prevent you from owning a firearm, even in your own home.  So my question to those who support this type of nonsense; Do you really believe the police can protect you if facing the same situation in your own home?  Only those on the far left would be foolish enough to believe it!

The Real Reason For Gas Price Spike

The Obama administration is blaming Iran for the steep spike in gasoline prices. Wrong! Obama is to blame for refusing to approve domestic drilling and building the oil pipeline from Canada to our refineries in Texas, keeping America dependent on those nut case Mullahs in Iran! Don’t believe Obama! His far left base is making you pay more and jeopardizing our national security.

Remember the idiom, “don’t shoot yourself in the foot”? That is exactly what Iran will do if they attempt a military blockade. It gives Europe and the US the justification to take out their military, leadership and nuclear plants.  A blockade would hurt their economy even more then the embargo placed upon them that caused the threat. The focus must stay on Obama and the liberals in congress for refusing to allow American  energy independence. PERIOD!

Thanking Our Heroes

To our heroes who served and are returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank you for your sacrifices and courage. Your efforts defeated tyranny in Iraq and made it a Democratic state. This video is worth watching and is in your honor. God Bless and Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you!

Stop Coddling Terrorists!

NYPD arrested Jose Pimentel on various charges yesterday and called him an “Al-Qaeda” sympathizer. According to police Pimentel allegedly was plotting to bomb police and post offices in NYC, as well as U.S. troops returning home.

Does anyone remember just a few months ago when NYPD came under intense attack by the liberal media and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for targeting Muslim neighborhoods in NYC.  Seriously?  Does anyone believe Pimentel would have chosen a Jewish neighborhood to plot his terror activities? (note photograph)  When are we going to stop the police bashing when they are simply doing their jobs of protecting us and focus on stopping terrorist activity within our own borders?

I commend every member of the NYPD for the outstanding work they have been doing in discovering and preventing terrorist attacks in the largest city in America.  I condemn those of the far left who continue to work with the ACLU and other groups that support providing comfort and security to terrorists hiding within the Muslim communities in our major cities.

Tea Party Voters – “Thinkers” not Racists!

 

 

 

The far left has been accusing the Tea Party of being racists because they are resolved to vote President Obama from office in 2012.  If you believe the liberal elitists, that makes you a racist!  It does not make you a racist, it makes you a “Thinker” an American who cares about your country and are willing to fight to rip away the liberal strangle hold they have on America’s throat!   

Conservatives and many other Americans recognize the destructive policies placed upon them by a liberal president and then liberal Congress and we are resolved to stopping it, just like we did in the 2010 congressional election.  Obamacare and the Far left’s class warfare strategy is tearing apart the country.  That is exactly what the liberals want because it further weakens the middle class.  That is their ultimate goal!  Once the middle class is marginalized, liberals will obtain greater political power!  Thinking Americans will not allow that happen without a fight.  Our battles are fought by educating voters, and campaigning for candidates opposing destructive liberal policies.  That is a huge difference over the methods used by the far left.  That is the Tea Party plain and simple! 

Actor Morgan Freeman was interviewed the other day and accused the Tea Party of being racists!  His reasoning, because the Tea Party wants Obama to be a one term President.  Why? Simply because he is a black man! Well Morgan, Herman Cain just proved you wrong by winning the Florida GOP straw poll with a commanding 37 percent margin! Mr. Cain is a black man in case you have not noticed, and what makes him different from President Obama is not his skin color, it is the fact he is a genuine leader!  He understands the damage your liberals have done to Americaand has dedicated himself to stopping you.  That does not make him a racist as you allege.  It makes him a great American and a “Thinker”!  On the other hand  Mr. Freeman, you have proven yourself to be a liar trying to fool Americans into believing liberalism is the future for America.  It will never happen!  Your racist comment was insulting to me and other like-minded Americans.  You should be ashamed!
